Diocesan policy is that weddings take place in a church and a period of six months be allowed for preparation. Please do not set a date until you have met with the pastor.  Engaged couples seeking the sacrament of marriage and those that are civilly married wishing to have their marriage convalidated in the Church should first meet with the pastor.
