No talent or experience is needed to become a volunteer. All you need is the desire to give of your time and employ your God-given abilities to further the mission of St. Anthony of Padua in service to our faith and community. You can start giving back right away as a St. Anthony volunteer. Many programs await your talents! What is important is to start. The Lord is never outdone in generosity so your efforts will be blessed.
There are many opportunities for youth and teens to serve our parish and community. St. Anthony's needs event photographers, streaming Mass camera operators and plenty of help with painting and repairs. Learn a lot while having plenty of fun.
All volunteers who work with children, young people or vulnerable adults must complete "Protecting God's Children" training, authorize a background check, and complete an application form appropriate for the volunteer work you will carry out. To complete the necessary safe environment training, contact Diana Wake in the parish office or locate an upcoming training session available at the Diocese of Raleigh website.
