“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit.”
–1 Cor 12: 4–7
St. Anthony Charities is the name given to the social ministry work our parish takes part in. When parishioners give to St. Anthony Charities, they are participating in effective corporal works of mercy. The following charitable works fall under the St. Anthony Charities umbrella. Look for special quartely envelopes for St. Anthony Charities in your envelope packet or write "St. Anthony Charities" on the memo line of your check. Through your financial donations to St. Anthony Charities we support Sandhills Coalition for Human Care, the Life Care Pregnancy Center, Family Promise of Moore County, Give a Gift Christmas Program and St. Anthony's Food Pantry. You may support our Food Pantry directly with a designated financial or food donation (just write 'food pantry' on the memo line of your check).
Emergency Food Pantry We need continuous donations of nonperishable food items for the emergency food pantry, which is located in the parish office. You may bring your donated food items to our parish church during church open hours and drop off in one of the donation baskets found in St. Anthony's church.

Family Promise - Family Promise is currently closed during the pandemic. We will provide an update when Family Promise is open to serve.
As Family Promise has acquired its own facility to host families, we are no longer hosting women and children at our parish facility. However, the needs are still there for volunteers willing to assist in a variety of tasks that serve the needs of the women and children who participate in the Family Promise program.
