I.T. Specialistk.petersstanthonyparish.netKaren first came to the parish in 1992 after moving to the area from New York with her four children. She worked for many years as an I.T. specialist at FirstHealth and retired in 2022.
She began volunteering in the Parish Office several years ago, and after attending the Women's Welcome retreat, felt convicted that she needed to do more. After a trial period to get acclimated, Karen became a sacristan in 2023. Her family has also expanded in the years since moving to North Carolina, and she now boasts eight grandchildren whom she loves to pieces!
Karen brings her I.T. expertise to our office to help us keep up with the technological times. She manages our hardware, software, and networking systems to utilize the best of new technology in a way that makes sense for our parish.
