Born in Wilson, North Carolina, and living in different cities around the U.S., Joe and his family returned to North Carolina a couple of years ago and now live in Pinehurst. Joe is a husband to a wife he adores, father to six children, father-in-law to two lovely brides, and a brand new grandfather. In the past, Joe has been in missions and church leadership. He has traveled the world, visited many holy sites, and now he brings his fierce love of Our Lord Jesus Christ, his depth of knowledge, and vast leadership experience to us.

At St. Anthony, Joe oversees all operations, both in the office and around the property. He manages the fiscal and budgeting responsibilities, and assists in making Father Kane's vision for the parish become a reality! Joe's true passion is making disciples of Christ and directs all of our parish endeavors toward that goal.

When Mr. Farris is not at St. Anthony, he loves spending time with our Lord in prayer. He also enjoys long daily walks. While he has been blessed to visit both Rome and the Holy Land, his real claim to fame is having spent a day with Muhammad Ali.
